Final Portfolio Checklists

2018 FINAL PORTFOLIO CHECKLISTS:

Because I teach a number of different classes, no one universal portfolio checklist can be created and used for all my classes . In every individual CTE class, there will be different content-specific requirements for the creation of your final portfolio. Final checklists will be available below, upon the end of the year:

FINAL PORTFOLIO CREATION STEPS ONCE YOU PRINT YOUR CHECKLIST

1. FIND DIGITAL COPIES – Locate all old assignments on the computer as listed on the FINAL PORTFOLIO CHECKLIST.
2. GET EDIT CREDIT! – Make edits to old copies and print fresh copies (Put old copy under new copy in portfolio)
3. TABLE OF CONTENTS – Create one for the front of your portfolio; just cut and paste list from the FINAL PORTFOLIO CHECKLIST.
4. FOUR WORK SAMPLES WITH REAL PICTURES – Locate your work samples and make sure you have your own pictures. Make sure you have at least 4 WORK SAMPLES. (If you don’t have at least four, make new ones needed now!)
5. COMPLETE CHECKLIST – Put all papers in order of the checklist into your binder.
6. SELF ASSESSMENT – Download outline at KenBevan.com (on the top) and complete. This is the last thing you need to write for us. Complete the Self Assessment Essay, using the outline on the assignment. Once it is written, put your Self Assessment right into your portfolio, in the back. It does not get handed in separately
7. REVIEW GRADING RUBRIC – After you complete the Self Assessment Essay and the Table of Contents, your portfolio will be graded using this Final-Portfolio-Scoring-Rubric-2018. Look it over so you know what you will be graded on. That way, you can make necessary adjustments accordingly.

PORTFOLIO CONSTRUCTION DAY CHECKLIST – If you are building your portfolio in the final days during English class, you can use this instruction sheet to help you get organized!
